What is Busway?

A busway, also known as bus duct, is a prefabricated electrical distribution system used to efficiently and safely distribute electrical power, especially in large buildings and industrial facilities. It serves as an alternative to traditional cable and conduit systems.   

LS Busway, a division of LS Cable & System USA, offers Ex-Way (UL) Sandwich Type, Data-Way (UL) Track Type, NSPB, and CR-Way Medium Voltage systems, all in full compliance with U.S. industry standards. Our bus plugs are compatible with Class R, J, and L fuses, as well as MCCB breaker types ranging from 100A to 1200A, providing the flexibility to meet a wide range of protection requirements.
