Peachtree Corners, GA. — LS Cable & System USA has joined the Carolinas Electrical Contractors Association (CECA) as an Associate member, expanding the company’s engagement with contractors, distributors, manufacturers, representatives and industry partners across North Carolina and South Carolina.
The membership supports LS Cable & System USA’s continued focus on building stronger regional partnerships in markets close to its U.S. manufacturing operations. With cable manufacturing facilities in Tarboro, North Carolina, and commercial, industrial, renewable and utility customers throughout the Southeast, LS Cable & System USA sees CECA membership as an opportunity to deepen its connection to the electrical construction community serving one of the country’s fastest-growing regions.
CECA is a full-service trade association serving the electrical construction industry in the Carolinas. The organization brings together electrical contractors and Associate members to support education, industry advocacy, workforce development, professional resources, member engagement and collaboration across the regional electrical market.
“Joining CECA is a natural step for LS Cable & System USA because the Carolinas are more than a market for us; they’re our manufacturing home,” said Bob Harvey, Regional Sales Manager for LS Cable & System USA, Southeast Region. “Our team is focused on building relationships close to where our products are made, listening to the contractors and distributors who understand regional project needs, and supporting the infrastructure growth taking place across North Carolina and South Carolina.”
The Carolinas continue to see strong demand tied to commercial construction, industrial expansion, data center development, manufacturing investment, utility modernization, renewable energy growth and broader electrification needs. Those trends create increasing demand for reliable LV and MV cable solutions, responsive technical support and coordinated engagement among manufacturers, distributors, contractors, engineers and owners.
Through its CECA membership, LS Cable & System USA is better positioned to participate in industry conversations, educational opportunities, member events and relationship-building activities that help strengthen the electrical construction ecosystem in the region. The company also plans to use the membership as another channel for market feedback, customer engagement and awareness of US-manufactured cable products serving commercial, industrial, utility and renewable energy applications.
“We are pleased to welcome LS Cable & System USA as an Associate member,” said Sue Gibbs, Executive Director of CECA. “LS Cable & System USA’s regional manufacturing presence and commitment to customer support make the company a valuable addition to our membership.”
For LS Cable & System USA, the membership also aligns with broader company priorities around domestic manufacturing, responsible growth, contractor engagement and long-term support for energy infrastructure.
“Strong infrastructure starts with strong relationships,” Harvey said. “By engaging more directly with CECA and its members, we can better understand what contractors and distributors need from a cable manufacturing partner and continue building the kind of regional support network that moves projects forward.”
